#27: Saturday Mornings in Front of the TV
Boomer kids woke up at the crack of dawn, bowl of cereal in hand, plopping down in front of boxy televisions to catch hours of uninterrupted cartoons. The excitement was electric. Shows like The Bugs Bunny Show, Scooby-Doo, and The Jetsons formed the holy trinity of early entertainment.

There were no rewinds, no replays. If you missed it, tough luck until next week. Those few hours belonged solely to kids. The rest of the week might’ve been chores and homework, but Saturday mornings were colorful, loud, and gloriously animated.
